How To Make Hair Bangs

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

Hairstyles with bangs are a great choice for many of women wanting to have a spicy, sexy look. With a little creativity and daring, getting the right kind of bangs can be both a fun and an exciting journey of self-discovery. It can also be quite frustrating if certain factors aren’t taken into account.

Changing your hairstyle each season can sometimes be hard to keep up with, but if you have hair bangs you can keep the same look all year long. You can use bangs to your advantage, since they can change your entire look without having to do much work. It is a great way to keep your hair simple, yet you can have a different look everyday of the week. No matter what color or type of hair you have, bangs can make your style look great this summer. Long and straight hair both work well, and they are both very versatile. You can add some texture with a curling iron or some crimps, or just sweep them to the side to look mysterious and sexy. Clipping them back will add a cute touch if you wear your hair down, or you can put your hair up and leave the bangs down across your face.

Playful looks can easily be achieved by experimenting with different hairstyles with bangs, since they can be curled, crimped, or left stick straight. You can clip them up right in the middle of your head after you tease them a little, and you will have a fun look that you can wear out at night as well. Sweep your bangs across your face for a more simple look, or try to add some ringlets if your like to wear your hair curly. You can use your bangs to bring out your beautiful eyes, or even to hide certain areas on your face such as your forehead if you are shy about it. You can use bangs to add a little pizzazz to any hairstyle, yet they are easy to keep out of the way if your in the mood for a more simple look.

There are bangs to fit any face shape, hairstyle and hair type. Throughout history women with bangs have graced fashion walkways in large numbers setting trends and establishing women’s hair and clothing tastes. While fashion models promote the one-style fits all attitude, in the real world one must take into account face and body differences. While blunt bangs will usually flatter oval face shapes, they may need to be adapted to compliment square or round shapes. The traditional baby bangs work great for oval and some round face shapes, since shorter bangs tend to lengthen and slim the face.

Bangs can be worn straight and full, wispy, or swept to one side. The simple act of adding forehead fringe can create an instantaneous
transformation from dull to awe-inspiring. The beauty of the bang is that you can change the look if you don’t like the result. Getting the right look with hairstyles with bangs is all about testing, getting a good hair stylist, using common sense, and, we recommend using the service below to test the style before the scissors are taken to your hair!

How to style them yourself

This is a great “blow and go” style. Just pull the bangs forward while blow drying, then place over to one side and add a quick mist of strong hold hair spray and you’re good to go! Tip! To get a more casual look, try pulling all your hair back off your face but leave bangs down to soften the style.

Hair Style For Fine Hair

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

For men, the most sensible and easiest style is a short, clean cut. One of the worst mistakes a guy can make with thinning or fine hair is to grow it long, spike it or jell it. These accentuate the thinning hair and draw attention to it, and under no circumstances attempt the dreaded ‘comb over’ by growing your hair at the sides and the back long and combing over the fine or receding areas. This will almost definitely bring unwanted attention and highlight what you are trying to conceal.

Dyeing the hair lighter will nearly always help by reducing level of contrast between the hair and scalp. Of course, if you have a darker scalp then a darker color would be better. There are also a vast range of thickening shampoos and conditioners that add volume to the hair and are less likely to break and damage the already weakened follicle. It is also advisable not to let fine or thinning hair get too greasy.

For women, chin length cuts are recommended by most stylists. Again, attention and emphasis will be on the features, face and neck, rather than the hair. As is similar for men, hair that is too long will make the hair appear weaker and thinner than it actually is. Curling irons and straighteners should be avoided as they can seriously damage hair.

There is no need to allow something like thinning hair to take over your life and make you self conscious wherever you go. So long as you do not make the common mistakes that people with thinning hair make then you will be fine, the thing is people do not know that a lot of the “fixes” actually just makes things that much worse, the companies that offer you curling irons or straighteners and the vast array of other things that are bad for your hair do not care about your hair in the long run, so long as you will buy their product and get a false sense of security from it they are satisfied, but it does not have to be this way which is why I am trying to help you make informed decisions that can offer solutions while not compromising your hair.
